Culture and History
The Église Notre-Dame in Escaudes has been protected as a historic monument by an inscription order dated 24 December 1925. Its main construction phases date from the 16th and 17th centuries; construction phases from 1558 and 1677 are recorded for it. The large porch is crowned by a bell gable with three peaks dating from the 16th century.

The protected complex of Château Le Boscage includes the residential building, the outbuildings, and the hedge-lined courtyard. Château Le Boscage is privately owned and cannot be visited; it was built at the end of the 17th century.

The Route des airials leads to a stop at the intersection with the D932E8, from which the village of Escaudes can be discovered. Logging made it possible to build the post office, the rural centre, and the bathing facilities in Escaudes in the 1950s, in the Basque-Landes style. Escaudes has preserved part of its municipal marshland areas and replanted forests over the past century.
