Cubzac-Les-Ponts: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The surviving remains of the Ruines du château des Quatre-Fils-Aymon include two towers of the eastern entrance gate, connected by a large arch. The ruins of the Château des Quatre-Fils-Aymon have been listed as a historic monument by decree since 31 August 1938.

Culture

The Église Saint-Julien de Cubzac also preserves traces of history: its façade retains Romanesque remains. Inside is the 18th-century painting “Baptême du Christ”, which is classified as a historic monument.

In the past, Café de Paris offered a tour of caves in former quarries. The tour traced the history of the site as well as the development of the production and the Café de Paris brand; the visit ended with a tasting in the boutique. On Fridays, Café de Paris offered group visits for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 40 people.

In Cubzac-les-Ponts, the Dordogne is crossed via the Pont Eiffel, a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. It is accessible from the port all year round and free of charge.

Nature

Cubzac-les-Ponts lies partly within the La Dordogne Natura 2000 site. From its viewpoint, the meadow above the Café de Paris quarries offers panoramic views of the Pont Eiffel and the banks of the Dordogne.
