Cavignac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

Cavignac preserves traces of Romanesque architecture at the Saint-Hilaire Chapel. The small Romanesque chapel was built in the 12th or 13th century. It was expanded and fortified in the 14th century; it served as a refuge for the local population. Visible features include a pointed arch at the front of the choir, a Romanesque arch, and two stone columns with capitals.

The Chabrier factory for carbonated beverages in Cavignac was founded around 1930 and expanded its production in 1941 to include lemonade and other soft drinks. It ceased operations in the 1970s and has now been converted into a private house.

Those planning a stay in Cavignac may wish to rent a holiday apartment for this purpose.
