Préchac: Holiday apartments and houses
Préchac combines historical landmarks with botanical gardens. Particularly striking is the history of the Château de la Trave, complemented by listed churches, the Château Royal de Cazeneuve and the Parc Botanique des Landes Girondines.

Culture and history
The imposing Château de la Trave fortress was built around 1306 and destroyed at the end of the 16th century. The protected Château de la Trave is preserved at Pont de la Trave in Préchac as a ruin, with underground structural remains. The ruins are situated on the banks of the Ciron.
The Église Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens in Préchac was classified as a historic monument by decree of 10 February 1909. It contains structural elements from several construction phases: remains and a transverse arch from the first building, an apse probably built later, apsidal chapels and side aisles added later, a probably Gothic eastern main arch, and a north side aisle from the 19th century. The Église d'Insos was listed as a historic monument by decree of 24 December 1925.
The Château Royal de Cazeneuve stands in a park protected as a historic monument and overlooks the gorges of the Ciron. The tour includes medieval cellars, troglodytic caves, Merovingian sarcophagi and a Gallo-Roman nymphaeum. The Château Royal de Cazeneuve also carries the bicycle-friendly Accueil Vélo label.
Nature and landscape
The Parc Botanique des Landes Girondines in Préchac is an arboretum in which 12 to 15 hectares are planted with various deciduous and coniferous tree species. The park contains around 180 oak taxa as well as a selection of woody plants from the genera Nyssa, Carya, Frexinus and Zelkova.

The Église Saint-Martin d'Insos can be visited by appointment, either without a guide or as part of a guided tour. The Parc Botanique des Landes Girondines can also be visited by appointment, either without a guide or with a guided tour.
