Beynac-Et-Cazenac: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture

Churches

Water and paths

With Gabarres de Beynac, boarding takes place at the foot of the Beynac car park, opposite the post office. Gabarres de Beynac offers a commented 50-minute trip on the Dordogne, departing from Beynac.

The canoe route from Vitrac to Beynac is 15 kilometres long, takes approximately two and a half hours plus stops, and ends in the centre of Beynac. The Promenade des Artistes follows the Dordogne for 300 metres and uses 13 panels to explain how Beynac-et-Cazenac inspired artists.

The Beynac tourist information office is located at the foot of the Château de Beynac. It offers maps, ideas for visits, and information about gabarre trips on the Dordogne.

The guided village tour explains how the village was organised to defend its Château. One village tour leads from the banks of the Dordogne through the medieval lanes of the village to the Château. From the lower village, the walk up to the Château de Beynac takes approximately 15 minutes.

Montgolfière et Châteaux offers hot-air balloon rides over the Château de Beynac.
