Culture and History
Ungersheim is home to the Écomusée d’Alsace. The open-air museum preserves buildings and collections documenting rural life in Alsace from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century. It showcases 80 buildings representative of rural Alsace. Visitors can explore these buildings, walk through fields and the forest, and enjoy activities offered daily.
The Catholic Church of Saint Michael is part of Ungersheim’s historical heritage. It has been classified as a historic monument since October 31, 1991.

The Sentier de la linotte mélodieuse is just over two kilometers long. The trail has 20 stations with educational panels and QR codes.
