Getting Around

Culture

Today’s Saint-Antoine Chapel was consecrated in 1958. It stands on the outskirts of Uffholtz, on a hillside near the road to Hartmannswillerkopf. Today’s Saint-Erasme parish church in Uffholtz was built between 1924 and 1927 on the site of the church dating from 1825, which was destroyed during the First World War.

The Abri Mémoire has two exhibition halls, a documentation centre, a conference room and an artists’ residency. It also offers a cultural programme featuring concerts, performances and theatre.

The Abri Mémoire in Uffholtz was renovated, renamed and opened to the public in summer 2010. It serves as a resource centre for arts education and education in civic responsibility and peace.
