Culture and history
Harskirchen has a Protestant church and a Catholic church. The Protestant church was built in 1767 by Joachim Stengel. It has a large, airy rectangular hall without a choir and has been classified as a Monument historique by decree of 10 July 1926. Of the churches built in the County of Sarrewerden, it has the richest façade design.
The Catholic church of Harskirchen has a squat square tower dating from the late 14th century. The tower is six storeys high, and its walls are 1.5 metres thick.

Water and routes
The Harskirchen/Bissert marina is located on an approximately 15-day navigation loop connecting Luxembourg, Germany and France. It is the first Alsatian access point to this route. Together with Saverne, the Harskirchen marina is a base for the boat rental company Nicols.
The blue cycle route “Entre canal et paysages d'Alsace Bossue” starts at the Harskirchen marina. It is 17 km long. The “Aux atours de Harskirchen” circular trail is 5.5 km long, takes approximately 1.5 hours and explores the history of the municipality, the historic grain mill operation and the heritage shaped by the canal.
