Furdenheim's church features architectural elements from several centuries and combines this historic building fabric with an annual summer festival, workshops, and farm shops. Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Furdenheim can first familiarize themselves with the area's distinctive features.

Culture and History

The choir tower is all that remains in Furdenheim's church of the original 13th-century church dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The former nave was demolished in 1820; the present nave was built during reconstruction in 1822. The top level of the bell tower dates from 1874.

Another example of the local architectural heritage is Ferme Wurtz. It was built at the beginning of the 18th century from Vosges sandstone and has a portal whose style is inspired by the Renaissance. Ferme Wurtz, also known as Schoppes-Hof, has an arrangement typical of wine-growing estates: the cellar opens onto the gable facing the street.
