At the foot of Epfig Hill, at the end of Rue Sainte-Marguerite, stands the Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite. It is a stop on the Route romane d'Alsace and is considered one of the oldest Romanesque churches in Alsace. Its 12th-century gallery porch is considered unique in Alsace. Culture and History

The present-day Saint-Georges Church in Epfig was built in 1790 according to the plans of architect Pierre Michel Dixnard. In the choir and transept arms, it features large altarpieces made of dark wood. The painting on the main altarpiece depicts Saint George, while a ceiling painting depicts the Trinity. The furnishings also include an organ from 1815 by Michel Stiehr, which has been rebuilt several times.
