Culture
La Seigneurie is a cultural heritage interpretation center based in Andlau. It is located in a former residence of the Lords of Alsace, built between 1582 and 1583. The permanent exhibition extends across the first, second, and third upper floors, covering a total of 700 m², and focuses on architecture, wine production, and crafts.
The Eglise abbatiale Saints Pierre et Paul has an 11th-century crypt guarded by a sandstone bear. The church also features a figurative frieze from the 12th century, which is described as having a height of 30 meters.
Château du Haut-Andlau was built between 1337 and 1344 by the Lords of Andlau. It can be reached via signposted footpaths from the Hungerplatz forester’s lodge; the total walking time for the round trip is one hour.
