A special route is the Lavvanderuten of the Blue Walk. The marked point-to-point hiking route is 22.4 kilometres long and runs between Skive and Sundsøre. On the way to Sundsøre, the Blue Walk follows the Limfjord and passes coastal meadows and nutrient-poor grassland. History, Legend and Regional Specialities

Sundsøre Pakhus is a historic warehouse dating from 1927. It was built as part of the freight station for the M/F Hvalpsund railway ferry. The freight wagons contain unmanned tourist information about the area and about the history of railway transport, transportation and freight traffic. A sculpture of the Lindormen, made from oak in 2022, also stands at Pakhus. According to local legend, the headland at Sundsøre is the tail of this Lindormen.

Brænderiet Limfjorden is also part of the local character. The distillery offers guided tours throughout the year by prior arrangement, ending with tastings of various products made on site. Visitors can enjoy beer, whisky, rum, gin, schnapps and liqueur at the bar or on the terrace. This adds a regional culinary experience to a day by the water or a cultural exploration.
