From the summit of Åsebakken, there are wide views across Sjælsø and the surrounding landscape. At the rest area there are tables and benches where you can enjoy the view. Åsebakken also has a walking trail of approximately 2 km leading to Jægerhytten in Eskemose Skov. A marked route of approximately 8 km leads from Åsebakken into Rude Skov and past Maglebjerg.
