The Čertův kámen natural monument extends across the cadastral territories of Ludkovice and Provodov na Moravě. Čertův kámen is a 16 m long rock formation on the northeastern slope of Rýsov. The tafoni-type rock cavities at Čertův kámen reach a height of up to 1.3 m.

The Ludkovice reservoir is located in the cadastral territory of Ludkovice. It serves to supply the surrounding area with drinking water and to protect municipalities along the Ludkovický potok from flooding. The Ludkovice reservoir lies above Ludkovice and is one of the smallest reservoirs in the entire Morava river basin. The dam of the Ludkovice reservoir is 181 m long and rises more than 15 m above the valley floor. The catchment area of the Ludkovice reservoir is mostly forested and has no concentrated development. The sports and cultural complex below the Ludkovice reservoir is used during the summer months.

History and culture

The earliest written mention of Ludkovice dates from 1412. The wayside shrine at Obora dates from 1719. It stands at a crossroads of four roads and four cadastral territories and has not only historical but also considerable artistic value.

Services are held regularly in Ludkovice every second Wednesday. Midnight Masses are celebrated annually in Ludkovice at Christmas. A chapel in Ludkovice was consecrated on October 28, 1995. The church calendar therefore includes both a regular event and an annually recurring Christmas event, as well as a consecration date set for a specific day.
