Jersín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Jersín is home to the two ponds Dolní Jára and Horní Jára. The Chapel of St. Anne stands in the village square, and the village is home to cultural and historical traces as well as the Jersínská stráň natural monument.

Culture and History

The Chapel of St. Anne has a clock on its tower and was built between 1907 and 1911. One of the stone crosses of Jersín dates from 1912 and stands near the village square; several other stone crosses are located in the immediate vicinity of Jersín. The first written record of the village dates from 1453.

The Borovský, Jeřábkův Mill is also located in Jersín. The mill was converted for residential use, and its first written mention dates from 1617. Antonín Fiala was born in Jersín on 27 May 1884.

Nature and Landscape

Jersínská stráň was first designated on 24 June 1998. It is designated as a natural monument. Czech gentian (hořeček mnohotvarý český), which is critically endangered, grows on Jersínská stráň.

Jersínská stráň comprises a preserved fragment of dry grassland communities containing a population of a critically endangered plant species as well as other endangered plant and invertebrate species. The Kopeček hill and the Řehořovský vrch hill are located in the immediate vicinity of Jersín. The Dědkovská hora hill and Blažkov hill are also located in the surrounding area.
