Bobrůvka: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The filial Church of St. Bartholomew in Bobrůvka is an early Gothic church from the last quarter of the 13th century. It was burned down in 1625 and restored in 1696. The presbytery and the surrounding masonry of the nave may date from the second half of the 12th century.

Culture and History

Bobrůvka’s local cultural heritage includes the vanished settlement of Bítovce (Bytowecz), which once lay between Bobrůvka and Dolní Bobrová. Bítovce was abandoned over time, around the 15th century, because the settlement was located in a place with poor connections to the surrounding villages.

The Sýkorův kříž wayside cross stands at the crossroads on the road to Radětín, above a mass grave of soldiers who fell in the Thirty Years’ War. At the crossroads on the road to Radešín stands a wayside shrine dating from 1780.

Nature and Landscape

The protected area of Ouperek lies northwest of Bobrůvka. It has been designated a natural monument since 1978 and covers 13.71 hectares. Ouperek combines a well-known mineralogical site with a wet meadow where endangered plant species occur.

The Ambrožný, Víckov and Dědkovská hora mountains are located in the surroundings of Bobrůvka. The Babylon mountain lies in the wider regional surroundings of Bobrůvka.
