Ryjice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
In Ryjice, a specific link to the town’s history leads back to 1895: that was when construction began on a workers’ sanatorium called “Sanatorium pro plicně choré”.
History
The sanatorium’s first pavilion was named “HELLENENHEIM” and opened in 1902. The former sanatorium complex in Ryjice is a state-protected cultural monument.
Blansko Castle, formerly called “Blankenštejn”, is also part of the historical surroundings. It was founded at the end of the 14th century. Its ruins contain the remains of the castle palace, as well as remnants of bastions and the tower. Blansko Castle remains open to the general public.
