The Ohníč Mill is still actively grinding flour. The mill is no longer powered by water, but entirely by electricity.
Culture
The Church of St. Peter and Paul in Křemýž is a Baroque sacred church that is a cultural monument and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Its exterior walls contain figurative Renaissance tomb monuments from the 16th century.
Křemýž Chateau is located in the village of the same name in the Teplice District and has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1958. It was built between 1693 and 1695 at the foot of Ladenburk, after the older fortress had been demolished.
History
Dolánky Chapel is attached to the Dolánky Mill complex and was built in memory of the tragic death of a child.
The no longer functioning Dolánky water mill, dating from the first quarter of the 18th century, is a private building and is not open to the public. Below the mill lie the ruins of the former March Mill, also known as Nový mlýn.
On the Way
A railway line runs through Ohníč, and the village has a railway station.
The Barbora Loop runs through Ohníč. It is 33.7 kilometres long and has an elevation gain of 332 metres.
Events
Another edition of a volleyball tournament with four teams took place in Ohníč as part of the ANDY Memorial. In the Dílnička na statku in Ohníč, practical creative activities for children and adults were held in the past, including basket weaving, ceramic work and making Advent wreaths.
