Culture and History

The Baroque chateau in Tulešice was built in 1711 by the Záblatský family of Tulešice on the site of a former fortified settlement. The park of the Tulešice chateau contains Rococo sculptures depicting themes from ancient mythology. The chateau and park are privately owned and not open to the public.

On a hill stands the Baroque-style Chapel of Saint Florian; it was built in 1782 on a hill on the eastern edge of Tulešice, on the site of an older wooden chapel.

Landscape and Trails

The protected Rokytná Nature Park borders Tulešice. The Tulešický potok stream flows through the park of the Tulešice chateau.

A hiking route leads through the Rokytná valley to the Tulešice-Rokytná trail junction and then to Tulešice along a red-marked hiking trail.
