The protected ensemble of Farmstead No. 3 in Novosedly consists of a residential building and a granary. The farmstead is located in the western part of the village.

The chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows is located on the village square in the Novosedly district. It has a centrally positioned, four-sided open bell tower; the year 1817 is inscribed on the chapel.

The religious heritage along the roadside of Novosedly includes the wayside shrine “Boží muka”. It is an approximately five-metre-high, three-sided, two-storey pillar structure and stands on the southeastern edge of Novosedly above the access road next to a former hollow way.

Novosedly was first mentioned in 1379, when it belonged to Krumlov Castle. In 1989, an unusually large bronze axe was found in Novosedly; it is now lost.

Things to Do

A yellow-marked hiking trail runs along the southern edge of Novosedly. The niche chapel near Mezipotočí railway halt is freely accessible.
