The nearby surroundings of Mezholezy include Vinice Hill (Mezholezy u Horšovského Týna), Malý Křakovský vrch Hill (Mířkov), the Sedmihoří hills and Křakovský vrch Hill (Mířkov).

Water and leisure

Mezholezský Pond is located near Mezholezy and covers 38 hectares. Originally, it was fed by streams from the mountains and served as an important water feature. Swimming and limited recreational use are possible at Mezholezský Pond.

Culture and village character

The façade details of the farmhouses in Mezholezy include the initials of former owners, as well as window surrounds decorated with diamonds and envelope motifs. The village square in Mezholezy is home to the Neo-Gothic Chapel of the Elevation of the Holy Cross; it is mentioned in the village as early as the 18th century and was reconsecrated in 1895. On the opposite side of the village square, a Baroque wayside shrine stands by the road.
