Hradec-Nová Ves: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Hradec-Nová Ves is situated on the left bank of the Bělá; forests stretch across the area surrounding the village. A green-marked hiking trail also runs through the northern part of Nová Ves in Hradec-Nová Ves.

Landscape and trails

The village is also directly connected to a long-distance cycling route: the Moravská stezka long-distance cycle route runs through Hradec-Nová Ves. On the Jeseníky section of this route, the village lies between Mikulovice and Písečná.

Culture and history

The Hasičské minimuzeum was established in 2008 with the support of the Olomoucký kraj in the former fire station No. 48 in Hradec. On display are a 1955 PRAGA RN fire engine and the motor-driven DS 16 and PS 8 pumps.

Panels in the Hasičské minimuzeum cover the development of firefighting technology, the history of the local fire brigade, the principles of firefighting, the traditions of Saint Florian as the patron saint of firefighters, and the history of the municipality. Access is available by prior telephone appointment at 584 423 086.

The Chapel of Saint Anne is also part of the village's history. It was rebuilt in 1870 after the former chapel burned down in 1865. The Peace Monument, bearing the inscription “Památník míru 1945–1960”, stands in Hradec-Nová Ves at a bus stop.

Beneath the house where remains of a former fortification were discovered is a medieval cellar; its date of origin cannot be determined.

Sport

The multi-purpose sports field is intended for ball games such as nohejbal, volleyball, small-sided football, tennis, badminton, basketball, and soft tennis. It is freely accessible daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is closed in winter.
