Cycling and Hiking Trails
Regional cycle route No. 211 runs through the Kozly area. Its route through Kozly lies between Dubá and Kamenický Šenov and continues to the border crossing near Rožany on the German border. The Kozly war memorial is located beside this cycle route.
Local cycle route No. 3086 leads from Kozly to Holany. From Kozly, it also provides an alternative connection to route 211 via Kvítkov, then continues along local paths to Karba and Zahrádky.
A green-marked hiking trail maintained by the Club of Czech Tourists runs through Kozly. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Kozly in the direction of Bořetín. The Kozly reconciliation cross is located beside a yellow-marked hiking trail.
Culture and History
The medieval stone reconciliation cross above Kozly is 110 cm high. It is one of approximately ten surviving stone reconciliation crosses in the Česká Lípa District.
The Chapel of Saint Procopius in Kozly was built in 1820 by the farmer Stefan Wenzel. Mineralogist Franz Hocke, who was born in Kozly, donated an altarpiece of Saint Procopius to the chapel. Beside house No. 109 in Kozly stands a large-leaved lime tree estimated to be 675 years old. Also of tourist interest in Kozly is the preserved architecture of a 19th-century house.
