Culture and history
In Jílové u Držkova, the Kalvárie is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the list of cultural monuments. The small stone folk-art monument dates from 1821 and stands in the centre of Jílové u Držkova, in the garden of house no. 126.
In the vicinity of Jílové u Držkova are the ruins of Návarov Castle, situated on a rocky promontory at the confluence of the Kamenice and the Zlatník stream. The castle was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The surviving remains include a rectangular core, two moats, and a curtain wall with two semicircular bastions.
Nature
A protected large-leaved lime tree is registered in Jílové u Držkova. The circumference of the lime tree trunk measured 610 centimetres at the specified height.
In the vicinity of Jílové u Držkova are the accessible Bozkov Dolomite Caves, which are designated as a national nature monument. The caves are located approximately 3 kilometres southeast of Jílové u Držkova. They contain the largest underground lake in Bohemia.

The Jílové u Držkova Quarry is a flooded former slate quarry. The flooded quarry is used mainly for swimming and diving; access is unrestricted.

The municipality documented the Jílovský Nebojsa family adventure trail on 1 November 2025 and announced another edition for the following year.
