Stríbrná: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Stříbrná is home to the Lišák ski resort at the foot of the Ore Mountains. It has nearly 3.5 kilometres of ski runs at elevations ranging from 630 to 790 metres.

Winter sports

The Lišák ski resort includes a green beginner slope, a wide intermediate slalom slope, the forested Touristická sjezdovka and the black Rukáv slope.

The groomed Krušnohorská magistrála provides cross-country skiers with a connection between nearby Bublava and Boží Dar.

Trails and landscape

Stříbrná has numerous marked hiking and cycling trails that allow tours through the western Ore Mountains. Skalní město u Stříbrné consists of quartzite rocks with rock towers ranging from 3 to 20 metres in height.

The tour to Špičák in the Rájecké údolí initially leads from Stříbrná along a red-marked hiking trail and then along a green-marked trail to the summit of Špičák. At the 991-metre-high summit there are a shelter and a summit register; from there, you can enjoy a view of the western side of the Ore Mountains.

The tour to Špičák can be reached by bus from Kraslice to Stříbrná; from there, continue on foot or by bicycle.

The climbing routes in Skalní město u Stříbrné are mostly secured with bolt anchors and pitons.

History and townscape

The pseudo-Gothic Church of the Most Sacred Heart of the Lord in Stříbrná dates from 1909 to 1910. The first written references to Stříbrná date from 1601 and are associated with the Stříbrný potok.
