Hostinne: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Hostinné makes its history visible in the townscape: the historic town centre was declared an urban conservation area because of its preserved medieval urban structure and historic burgher houses. Extensive preserved arcades and medieval floor plans of the houses are characteristic of this historic town centre.

Culture

The Galerie antického umění traces the development of ancient sculpture through precise casts of works whose originals are housed in major museums around the world. Its collection is accessible year-round to individual visitors and groups.

The town hall tower was added to the town hall in the 16th century. Its viewing gallery can be accessed via the information centre for a nominal admission fee and offers a bird’s-eye view of Hostinné.

The Baroque Franciscan monastery in Hostinné was built between 1677 and 1684. It served as a pharmacy, hospital and place of spiritual care.

The Porciuncule pilgrimage takes place every year in Hostinné on the first weekend of August. During the town game Putování panstvím obrů, visitors receive a map at the information centre featuring pictures and tasks that guide them to the most remarkable places in Hostinné.
