In Bystré, the history of the parish church of St. Bartholomew spans several construction phases: it was built from 1716 to 1720 to replace an earlier place of worship, destroyed by fire in 1750, and repaired in the following years. The last major exterior and interior restoration took place from 1869 to 1973; during this work, original paintings on the triumphal arch as well as Rococo paintings on the ceiling and pilasters were uncovered.
