Stehelčeves: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

Stehelčeves combines archaeological evidence, documented local history, and trails with points of interest. Homolka, an archaeological hill bounded to the north by the Dřetovický stream, lies east of the village.

Archaeology and Local History

Homolka is classified as a Category I archaeological area and a significant archaeological site. The hill was a fortified settlement from the Eneolithic period, with a palisade, a two-meter-wide ditch, and gates. The site also includes a small early medieval burial ground.

A special volume of the Stehelčeves municipal chronicle documents life in the village since 1316. Every year, Stehelčeves hosts municipal chronicle meetings, open days, and exhibitions.

The former chapel near House No. 1 was built in the late Baroque style; it contained a Late Gothic statue of Saint Peter and a bell from 1736.
