Nature and Trails
A marked hiking trail runs through Podbrdy to the Brdy ridges. A hike to Mount Jistevník can begin in Podbrdy. In the Podbrdy area, marked cycle route No. 3 runs along Road II/115. The Všeradická forest road runs through the surroundings of Podbrdy between Vižina and Podbrdy; cycle route 308 also follows it.
Culture and Village Life
There is a new wayside chapel in Podbrdy. Today, the “Čarodějnice” tradition is organised here. Karlov Pond was given its present form in 1936. On 25 July 2015, a public night fishing event was held at Karlov Pond in Podbrdy; it offered refreshments and covered seating.
History and Notable Places
The former missile base is located on the Hřebeny-Brdy ridge between the peaks of Jistevník and Vrážky. The grounds of the former missile base could not be entered because warning signs prohibited access.
