Culture

The former Garagnin summer house in Divulje has a semicircular classical portico, considered rare in Dalmatia. The main building of the Garagnin estate was planned at the beginning of the 19th century as a villa with three independent wings. The estate itself was organised as a ferme ornée and combined a productive agricultural operation with a landscape park.

In the Early Middle Ages, Divulje was part of a coastal estate associated with Croatian dukes and the Church of St. Vital. In Bijaći, the Church of St. Martha and the surrounding archaeological remains form an archaeological site of national importance with Roman, early Christian and medieval phases.

The Tarce archaeological site in Divulje is protected and registered cultural heritage of the City of Trogir. Divulje–Tarce is registered as the site of a maritime villa from the Roman period.

Those who choose Divulje as their travel destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
