Svib: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture
The old parish church of Saint Anthony of Padua was built in 1747 and extended in 1832. It retains a stone outdoor altar, a rose window, a three-bell bell gable and two altars made of Brač stone.
The newer parish church of the Assumption of Mary was built in 1974 and completed in 1995, including its bell tower and the interior and exterior works. It contains a bronze statue of the Mother of God, a stained-glass depiction of the Assumption of Mary, Stations of the Cross and a marble altar.
Archaeological fieldwork in Svib and its immediate surroundings documented nine archaeological sites from different periods, including six hillforts, two open ceramic sites, burial mounds and graves beneath stećci. Archival evidence was also consulted to infer the location of the old parish church.
