In Betina’s local harbor, the open-air museum showcases around 46 traditional wooden boats arranged by type and size. Additional interpretive elements and an interactive totem provide information about the individual boats. The Betina Museum of Wooden Shipbuilding also offers an open-air maritime collection where visitors can compare traditional types of vessels and learn about their historical role. The permanent exhibition comprises eight collections.

Culture
The historic center of Betina is protected as a cultural monument and consists of old stone lanes and densely packed stone houses. At the entrance to Varoš stands Hrelić Tower, a defensive structure dating from 1514 that is now integrated into a private house. The Baroque Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Betina dates from 1601; its bell tower, built in 1752, was designed by Ivan Skoko.
Betina’s local boat tradition includes the Betina gajeta. It was developed as a robust farming boat with a lateen sail and adapted to local transport needs. The cultural and artistic association Zora preserves Betina’s traditional circle dances, including Balambrin (Kolo na križ) and Kolo od kanate.
Coast and Water
Zdrače Beach is a sandy-pebbly local beach near the center of Betina. It has sunbathing areas, showers, and a coffee bar. Punta Diving is based in Betina and offers dives in Croatia’s Kornati National Park as well as at wrecks in the Adriatic.
Betina’s sailing school is for children aged 8 to 12 and also welcomes holidaymakers who want to acquire basic sailing skills.
Traditions
Every year, Betina hosts Regata za dušu i tilo, a competition featuring traditional wooden boats. Dan brganje is an annual all-day festival held on the first Sunday in August in honor of the tradition of shellfish harvesting.
