Ravna Gora: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Ravnogorski planinarski put includes twelve checkpoints, with Ravna Gora being the first. The Javorova kosa hiking trail also begins in the Vrh area of Ravna Gora. The Fruits of the Mountains educational trail is located in the hilly area of Suhi Vrh, about 700 meters from the center of Ravna Gora. Its starting point is on the meadow behind the Breza restaurant in Ravna Gora. Information boards along the educational trail focus on the vegetation of Gorski Kotar, including trees, shrubs, mushrooms, medicinal plants, and berries.
The program of Ravnogorska Salamijada 2025 also included a guided family hike on the Fruits of the Mountains educational trail. For cyclists, the printed map “Ravnogorske green trails” shows the area's main cycling routes, as well as natural attractions and cultural monuments.
Culture
Ravna Gora is home to the Church of Saint Teresa of Ávila. It was originally built in 1777 and rebuilt in 1907 based on designs by the architect Hermann Bollé.
The Chapel of Saint Florian is located along the Camino Gorski kotar route in the Ravna Gora area and was built in 1874.
Ravnogorska Salamijada took place in 2025 for its third edition and in 2026 for its fourth edition.
History
Ravna Gora lies on the old Karolina Road. After its construction in 1727, the Karolina Road connected Ravna Gora with Karlovac and Rijeka.
