The traditional livelihoods of Dubašnica include olive growing, winegrowing and livestock farming. The historic centre of the area has also changed: it shifted from Dubašnica to Bogovići and later to Malinska.

Culture

At the turn-off to Radići stands a votive cross erected in 2000, replacing an earlier wooden cross. The Rural Ensemble of Sv. Vid was registered as a cultural monument in 1976; the larger ensemble includes an olive mill and a smithy.

The Chapel of St Vitus was first mentioned in 1451 and later served a pastoral function in Sv. Vid between 1887 and 1890. The Dubašnica Heritage House is a rural house from the mid-19th century that was built for two families and reflects the area's agricultural and livestock-based way of life.

Nature

The cycling route designated as B412 – Putevima svetaca is listed as following the route Radići–Rasopasno–Strilčić. The cycling routes of Dubašnica lead from the coast through centuries-old oak forests and through olive groves inland. They are described as suitable for families because the differences in elevation are relatively small; these reach up to 240 metres.

B412 includes a visit to the Church of St Peter in Gabonjin. A wooded section leads to the remains of the Chapel of St Nicholas from the 14th century, and the route also passes the Cickini Archaeological Collection. In the fields of Dubašnica, the cemetery and the original bell tower of the former parish site of St Apollinaris have been preserved as reminders of earlier times.

Malinska is connected by bus with Rijeka and other places on Krk. Sv. Vid Miholjice, the access point for B412, is connected by local bus services with Malinska and the town of Krk.

An Intrada menu in Radići featured presnac, facoleti with spinach and cheese, a platter of homemade sheep's cheese, and bruschetta with tomato, sheep's cheese and basil.
