Linardici: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Linardići is one of the 13 settlements and hamlets in the Šotovento area. The settlements in this area, including Linardići, preserve the original urban structure of closely grouped stone houses. In addition, there are historic buildings, paved cycling routes and maritime access points in the surrounding area.

Townscape and History

The parish church of St Fuska in Linardići was built at the end of the 19th century by converting an older chapel dedicated to St Anthony the Hermit.

In the surrounding area, between Pinezići and Linardići, stands the Church of St Sixtus. It was first documented in the 13th century and has been preserved up to the roof; only its front wall is missing.

The H130 circular hiking trail also runs in the vicinity of Glavotok. The 7.2-kilometre trail is moderately challenging and highlights the Church of St Chrysogonus as a representative example of insular Romanesque architecture.

Cycling

The official B-427 cycling route “Putovima sedam sela” passes through Linardići. The 32.9-kilometre route is moderately challenging and follows existing paved roads.

Route B-425 also passes through Linardići. It runs above Vela Jana Bay and harbour before leading back to Milohnići via Linardići.

Water and Harbour

Vela Jana is a public port for maritime traffic in the surrounding area and is managed by the Port Authority of the County of Krk. The port has a 14-metre operational section for embarking and disembarking passengers, as well as berths for 143 community boats and 6 nautical boats.

The Sotovento boat rental company uses Vela Jana as its home port in the Linardići area. Boats are available for rent with or without a skipper, for either a full day or a half day.
