Culture and History
The Church of St. Fuska by the sea served as a meeting place for worshippers from the surrounding area until the parish seat was moved to Linardići. In 1909, a new church with the same patron saint was consecrated in Linardići.
Below Pinezići, the Church of St. Fuska by the sea has been documented in the Vatican Archives since 1338. It has a single-nave layout, a rectangular apse, a porch and a bell gable. During restoration, remains of Roman walls, bricks, roof tiles and amphorae were discovered beneath the church.
Routes and Connections
Route B-425, “U sjeni velikih hrastova”, runs from Milohnići via Brzac, Poljica, Žgaljići, Pinezići and Linardići back to Milohnići.
Hiking route H125 runs through Picik Forest and above the bays of Valbiska and St. Fusca, near the historic Church of St. Fusca by Pinezići.
Podcrikva near Pinezići can be reached by car, bicycle or on foot.
The Valbiska–Merag ferry route connects Krk and Cres; the crossing takes 25 minutes.
