Culture and History

Kornić’s Ethnographic Collection is housed in a traditional stone house from the 19th century and depicts rural life from around a century ago through more than 700 exhibits. These include a cooper’s workshop, tools for agriculture and livestock farming, cheese-making utensils, equipment for storing oil, household rooms, traditional costumes and a stone threshing floor.

The Parish Church of St James the Apostle in Kornić dates from the 19th century and has a distinctive bell gable as well as a distinctive portal.
