The Boksitna pruga is a hiking trail along the former railway corridor, following a former bauxite railway; in the vicinity of Mali Turini, it features rock cuttings, stone embankments and natural rock sculptures. Farm Drijade offers an animal experience by prior arrangement.

The official Istria-Bike list includes 442 Tragom rudara i kamenih skuptura as a 14.5-kilometre cycling route lasting two hours and starting in Nedešćina.

Culture and History

In the immediate vicinity, Kaštel Šumber with its lower settlement is a protected cultural asset of national importance, built on the site of a prehistoric hillfort. Also nearby, Park Dubro is open all year round, 24 hours a day and free of charge; guided tours for groups are organised by prior arrangement.

The wider region around Mali Turini is home to Dvigrad Castle, Vižače, the Soardo-Bembo Palace and the Arheološki muzej Istre.
