Paths and routes

The official Bella-Vista cycling route runs for over 30 km from Labin to Skitača and back. It comprises 9 km of asphalt and 21 km of macadam. The route combines views of the Kvarner, the Skitača area and the coastal town of Ravni. Ravni is also associated with beaches and surfing. Via Drenje, the route passes through Crni and continues into the upper part of Labin.

Clear-Eyed Lucy is also an official, challenging trail. The trail reaches the villages of Derenje and Crni before leading back towards Labin.

The Sveta Marina–Lookout Torneg Trail passes through Crni and Kosi towards Drenje before ascending to Torneg. At Torneg, at an elevation of 345 m, the trail offers views of the bay.

Nature and surroundings

Školnica Svete Lucije is located nearby, a natural limestone depression filled with water that almost never dries out. Goli and Brestovica are also located in the vicinity of Crni. Standar is located in the surrounding area.

In the wider regional surroundings of Crni are Vižače and Sisol, as well as Soardo-Bembo Palace, Dvigrad Castle and the Archaeological Museum of Istria.

Culture and regional connections

Skitača is associated with a tradition concerning a victory over the Turks near Crna Punta in 1661. The Skitača mountain lodge is considered welcoming towards occasional weekend visitors.
