Baderna: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Baderna is home to the parish church dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built in the 16th century, extensively restored and expanded in 1843 and 1878, and has a free-standing bell tower dating from 1827.

Baderna is located at the intersection of state roads on the Poreč–Pazin–Rijeka route with D-48 and D-302, as well as on the Pula–Koper–Trieste route via D-21.
Culture and History
The Blessed Miroslav Bulešić was the parish priest in Baderna from 1943 to 1945. A relief of the Blessed Miroslav Bulešić is mounted on the church’s outer side wall facing Baderna’s central square. Baderna celebrates the Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary as its patronal feast, also known as Santa Maria Minor.
In nearby Rakovci is the Joakim Rakovac Memorial House, a historically significant site and an example of rural Istrian architecture. In July 2024, it reopened with a new exhibition on antifascism and the National Liberation Movement in the Poreč area. Visits are possible by prior arrangement.

The area around Baderna includes Dvigrad Castle, Gruja Vrh, Veliki Breg, Sveti Mihovil and Otočić Sveti Nikola. Sveti Ivan is located near Baderna. The wider regional area also includes Soardo-Bembo Palace and Škaraba.
Cycling
Cycling route 41, the Novigrad–Lagana connection, also passes through Baderna and lists the village as one of its stops.
