Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Zajci can then continue searching for accommodation. The Sopot Waterfall is about 25 metres high and forms a turquoise lake. There are two viewpoints, a steep descent supported by ropes, seating for picnics, and connections to the St. Rochus and St. Simon hiking trails.

The Sopot Waterfall area can be reached via the road from Pazin to Labin: at Zajci, turn off and follow the signs towards Jakomići and Švići; from Floričići, the access route continues by car.

The surrounding area of Zajci includes Trba, Standar, Straževica, and Sisol.

Culture and History

The Church of St. Mary on Škriljinah is also located in the surrounding area of Zajci.

Dvigrad Castle and the Soardo-Bembo Palace are located in the wider regional surroundings of Zajci. Also situated in this wider regional area is “Maiden With The Seagull”, a statue by Zvonko Car.

In nearby Pićan, the monumental town gates from the 14th century and the churches of St. Michael and St. Roch are described as noteworthy historical features. St. Michael’s is noted for its wall paintings from the first half of the 15th century.
