History and Culture

Pićan's Cathedral of the Annunciation of Mary is a historic bishop's church. An extensive renovation and expansion carried out between the 17th and 18th centuries created a three-nave basilica with side chapels.

The recurring Pićan People Day combines a festival of bottled wines with wine tastings, literary performances in the local subdialect and a staged Pićan legend.
