Pazin Castle houses exhibitions of the Ethnographic Museum of Istria and the Pazin City Museum. Pazin Castle is already mentioned in written documents from 983. A 45-metre-high bell tower was built in 1705 next to the Parish Church of St Nicholas in Pazin. The Parish Church of St Nicholas is located in the centre of Pazin; the way there is marked by brown signposts. The Franciscan monastery in Pazin has the oldest surviving library in Istria.

Nature
Pazinska Jama is the gorge of the Pazinčica River. It is legally protected and designated as a significant landscape. The gorge of Pazinska Jama is approximately 500 metres long and about 100 metres deep. Pazin Castle was built above Pazinska Jama.
The Pazinčica Valley features cascades, waterfalls and small lakes; some of them are suitable for swimming in summer. At the same time, the valley attracts cyclists, climbers, walkers and anglers.
Activities
The Speleological Society Istra Pazin organises visits for the speleo-adventure in Pazinska Jama throughout the year, depending on weather conditions, in cooperation with Natura Histrica. The underground section of the speleo-adventure in Pazinska Jama is approximately 200 metres long and ends at a large chamber and an 80-metre-long underground lake.
The educational trail to Pazinska Jama is 1,100 metres long and begins at the Vršić Bridge below the castle. It leads to the Piramida viewpoint, from which visitors can look down into the depths of Pazinska Jama. Information boards in several foreign languages are installed along the educational trail.
The Pazinska Jama zipline consists of four lines. The longest line is 280 metres long and reaches a speed of 50 km/h.
