Lovorno is home to the best-preserved section of the water supply system of Epidaurum. The surviving aqueduct section shows that the channel was vaulted. The ancient water supply route runs through Lovorno between Ljuta and Pridvorje.

Culture and history
The history of the village includes a find at the Velika Gospa church: during a reconstruction in the early 20th century, an ancient funerary stele was excavated there. The rectangular stele is made of limestone.
Lovorno has three churches: St Anne, St Elijah and Velika Gospa. St Anne's Church with its cemetery is a single-nave Baroque building with a bell gable, porch and apse. St Anne's Church in upper Lovorno was built in the 16th or 17th century.
Stećci with depictions of shields and swords are recorded at St Elijah's Church in Lovorno. They belong to a medieval funerary monument tradition that is generally dated to the 14th and 15th centuries in Konavle.
Tegula fragments and building material can be found around the Velika Gospa church. The church site lies near the trace of the aqueduct above a fertile field.
The celebration of Velika Gospa includes a procession from the parish church of St Sergius and St Bacchus to the Velika Gospa church. This procession is an old custom of Konavle. Lovorno also has two religious brotherhoods dedicated to St Anne and Velika Gospa.
Cuisine
At Kameni Dvori in Lovorno, tastings and the purchase of homemade wine, Malvasia, Merlot, extra virgin olive oil, sweets and liqueurs are offered. Green or white menestra is available there by prior arrangement. Kameni Dvori is also associated with Lovorno skewers, a traditional dish.

As part of the Konavle Hike project, a guided hike was offered on the Lovorno–Tušići–Lovorno route.
