Botovo is home to the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk. It is classified as a cultural heritage asset and is located at an intersection on the main road. The original chapel from the early 20th century was demolished in 1974; a new chapel was built in 1984 and moved to Miškinina Street. At the foot of the altar, a restored relief depicting Mary Magdalene, Saint Sebastian and Saint Roch has been preserved.

In the nearby area north of Botovo, there is a visitor zone with riverside and gallery forests, eutrophic lakes and ponds, wet meadows and floodplain forests. This zone also includes an educational trail and a provisional route of the Amazon of Europe Bike Trail with a rest area.

From the bridge in Botovo, there is a view of the Drava. Botovo is one of the Drava settlements included in the activities of DRAVA LIFE. These activities benefit Natura 2000 habitats and enhance the recreational value of the surrounding area.

Activities

The karting track in Botovo is 602 metres long. Its facilities include a catering establishment and a shop for karting equipment. The traditional cycling event organised by Drnje on 1 May took place on the Drnje–Torčec–Đelekovec–Šoderica–Botovo–Drnje circuit.

The 4th Nagrada Općine Drnje was held at the BOX707 karting track in Drnje on 12 July; the event was part of the Croatian and Zagreb karting championships.
