Culture
The historic centre of Generalski Stol is home to a striking Catholic church whose entrance faces east and whose altar faces west. An ethnographic collection presenting local traditions is also displayed there.

The church was built of stone and brick in 1829 and stands in the centre of Generalski Stol on the historic Jozefina Road. History
In the Middle Ages, Generalski Stol was known as Lipovac. In the first half of the 17th century, Vuk II Krsto Frankopan chose the place as the seat of a court table, after which it received its present name. Generalski Stol developed in parallel with the construction of the Jozefina Road between 1770 and 1779.
The Globornica Bridge was built in the last quarter of the 19th century. In the history of stone bridge construction in Croatia, it is regarded as a unique and significant example.
