Discover Doboj: Dipijeva Staza, Hurije and Holiday Apartments

The marked Dipijeva Staza hiking route leads from Doboj via Bukov vrat, Bjelavičko jezero, Juke, Srijetež and Žitelji to Teševo. The route was marked to make it easier for hikers to find their way. The commemorative hike beginning in Doboj continues to Teševsko brdo, where the monument to Edib Dogdibegović Dipi stands. During the commemorative march on Dipijeva Staza, the event began with the laying of flowers at the monument to martyrs and fallen fighters in Doboj.

Remembrance and Views

The Hurije viewpoint lies above the settlement of Doboj. A monument dedicated to fallen soldiers stands at the top of the viewpoint; beside it, a large flagpole flies the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Hurije monument commemorates the Kakanj anti-aircraft unit that had a firing position there at the beginning of 1992. The viewpoint offers a panorama stretching from Kakanj to the mountain peaks. Hurije is suitable for photography.

History
