Remains of a former coastline made of quartzite and shale rubble can also be found there.

Cycling, Church and Village History

The Maison du Cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège is located in the heart of the village of Sougné-Remouchamps in Aywaille. It presents the history of cycling, displays collection items considered rare and unusual, and offers temporary exhibitions on various cycling-related topics. The Église de l’Immaculée Conception de Sougné-Remouchamps is also part of the village’s history. It was built in 1739, replacing an earlier structure dating from around 1230.
