The Parc du château de Court-Saint-Etienne was laid out around 1805 and is protected as a landscaped park. The Dyle also shapes the landscape: within Court-Saint-Etienne, from where it enters the municipality to its confluence with the Cala, it has retained its natural state. The wooded château park and the ponds of Champeau, surrounded by wet meadows, form a protected natural area.

A network of roads and paths is available for walks. A particularly nature-oriented route is the S103 Sentier de la Gloriette. Between Faux and Suzeril, it follows the Dyle along its wildest section, which is classified as an area of great biological interest. The Moulin de Suzeril is a grain mill; a site plan from 1872 shows the construction of the mill and its outbuildings by Isidore Joseph Bouffioux. The complex also includes a 1.75-metre-high waterfall.

Industrial history and historic buildings

Hall n° 11 was built in 1907 on the site of the Grand Moulin. Its distinctive features are its riveted metal framework and cast-iron pillars. The building has been protected since 2 October 1995 and integrated into the public spaces of the centre as a multi-purpose hall. The Henricot works represent another important part of the town's history: castings were initially produced there, followed later by wrought-iron components and, from 1929, high-quality special steels.

The Église Saint-Étienne also offers several historical details. Its tower dates from the Romanesque period and is dated to the 11th or 12th century. Inside are the 16th-century Triptyque de la Passion and the black-and-white marble cenotaph of the Count and Countess of Provins, created in 1652. The Chapelle aux Sabots was built in 1774. It stood at a crossroads of five routes, including the old connections between Genappe and Wavre and between Nivelles and Wavre.

The Chapelle aux Sabots is also associated with the tradition of hanging a wooden clog there to gain Notre Dame's favour for a budding romantic relationship. The Foyer populaire adds to the cultural picture: it was built in 1913 to plans by the architect André Dautzenberg and inaugurated on 19 April 1914. Historically, numerous operettas and plays were performed there; several film screenings were also held each week.
