Kruhlica: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nature

In the wider regional surroundings of Kruglitsa are the islands of Ostrov Rybnyy, Ostrov Bezdedovo and Ostrov Vysokiy, as well as the hill Gora Lipovaya Gora. The Church of Bogoroditskaya Tserkov’ is also located near Kruglitsa.

The Selyava republican landscape reserve in Krupki District protects a unique landscape and lake complex as well as habitats of species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus. The protected area extends across Krupki District in Minsk Region and Chashniki District in Vitebsk Region.

In Krupki District, the Selyava Reservoir is used for recreation and leisure fishing. In 1993, the Selyava State Landscape Reserve of republican significance was established there.

Culture and History

The Svyatsky manor house in Krupki is an Art Nouveau architectural monument from the early 20th century. It was built in 1900 by Karl Svyatsky, the last owner of Krupki. The remains of a park that extends to the Bobr River have been preserved around the manor house.

The documented cultural monuments in Krupki District include a late-19th-century manor palace in Yazby in the late Classicist style, the Swjata-Spasa-Preobraschenskaja Church in Gritskovichi from 1850, and the wooden Swjata-Bogorodizkaja Church in Khudovtsy from 1894.

St. Nicholas Church in Krupki and the Historical and Local History Museum in Krupki are part of a regional cultural route through Krupki District.
